Wednesday 6th of July, 2 PM to 4:30 PM.
The MBAL offers a workshop for children led by our team of mediators
During the workshop, kids will study the life of Vahan Poladian: flight from Armenia, enlistment in the French troops, prison in Germany and internment. After discussing his background and looking closely at his costumes and Charles Fréger’s photographs, kids are invited to decorate their caps. Creatively, the children are free, but must follow two steps: colours and embroidery. The mediator will help them with the sewing.
It will be possible to discuss the costume in a more general concept: Do children dress up? On which occasion ? What are the differences between clothes and costume ?
Thoses workshop are free of charge. Reserved for children between 6 and 12 years old.
Registration by phone or e-mail.
