The MBAL is pleased to welcome you for a concert within its walls on September 04, 2022 at 16:00.
It will be performed by the Duo VOM SEE composed of the soprano Judith Ankoué, and the pianist Sylvain Haderlé. These two musicians met at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève in 2016 and had the opportunity to play together many times. Little by little, through concerts and masterclasses (Helmut Deutsch, Roger Vignolles, Alexander Mayr…), the idea of forming a duo became obvious. This new formation allows the two artists to explore the repertoire of the German lied and the French melody in a precise and rigorous way, always in the pleasure to play together and to satisfy their artistic curiosity by constantly increasing their repertoire.
In 2022 the Duo vom See won the 3rd prize for melody at the 1st competition of the Grandes voix lyriques d’Afrique in Paris and the 1st prize at the Mahler competition in Geneva.
A guided tour of the exhibitions takes place before this event, open to all and included in the ticket price.
