experience a relaxing session with johanne faivre kneubühler from the atelier pleine présence, where yoga practice blends with the discovery of the works in the exhibition.
yoga mats provided, comfortable clothing recommended.
2.00 pm : dance performances by rena brandenberger and nelly bütikofer, based on the work of mary wigman and sophie taeuber
rena brandenberger is a dancer and choreographer. Following in the footsteps of mary wigman, a dazzling pioneer in the history of dance, rena brandenberger examines her witch’s dance in a three-part reconstruction – looking for the essence in the copy, and then finding her own identity in it.
independent dancer, choreographer and stage director, nelly bütikofer explores the confluence of dance, theatre and performance. for 20 years, she has been expressing her admiration for sophie taeuber, her quest for clarity, veracity and the essential, and her love of dance.
the performances will be followed by a conversation about the work of mary wigman and sophie taeuber, as well as that of rena brandenberger and nelly bütikofer. with the artists, moderated by sophie mauch.
