About Tessa Wymann
In 2011, Tessa Wymann was 24 years old when she took over an almost century-old bookbindery in Vevey. The workshop Les Relieuses was born, and within its walls filled with old tools and machines, Tessa cultivates a rare know-how. Having her own workshop allows her to rewrite the traditional codes of bookbinding and to collaborate with creative minds to think differently about the bookbinding profession.
Cross-trade collaboration is a philosophy for the workshop, and Les Relieuses works closely with other specialists in the graphic chain. The workshop focuses on an exclusive craft offer for designers, students, book lovers and local companies.
Tessa is also commissioned by institutions to work on heritage conservation. In order to pass on her know-how, she teaches at the CFP Arts and at the Association pour le patrimoine industriel de Genève, not to mention the workshops she gives in her own workshop.
