An exhibition tailored for children
The Museum of Fine Arts in Le Locle is very aware of tomorrow’s audience and opens wide its doors to young visitors. They offer guided visits, workshops and activity books to help them discover the exhibitions in a playful way. In this spirit, it has also invited the Parisian photography festival Circulation(s) to stage their children’s festival. Dedicated to diversity in European photography, it aims to promote education in the visual image, and the 2015 edition has taken this wish a stage further. The exhibition presents works by the artists exhibited during the festival, but hung so as to be more accessible to a young audience. It provides an educational, yet playful, path aimed at developing children’s skills in observation, analysis, expression and critical thinking.
